What carat is my gold?
Look for small stamps like 585 (14K), 750 (18K), 375 (9K), or marks like 14K / 18CT. Quick guide: 999/999.9 = 24K · 916/917 = 22K · 750 = 18K · 585/583/575 = 14K · 417 = 10K · 375 = 9K.
How is value calculated?
By carat (purity), total weight and current market rates. Items are tested (XRF/acid) and weighed on trade-calibrated scales. Stones are removed prior to melt; we’ll discuss any notable gems with you.
